If I could give zero stars I would! It is a little better than the free Pawn Software you can get. I suggest Pawn Master. A little more cost a lot less stress.
I have been using this software for over a couple years now and we have one store. Everything these guys are saying below is correct. I have tried to be nice and patient with this company but their software has been the worst investment I have ever made in our store. They give you lip service on technical issues and have yet to make this software work as of yet. My financials are all wrong, I have to check every ticket daily as I handle the transactions due to errors and wrong amounts on customer tickets. I upgraded to the Pro system a year ago because I was told by their sales rep it was a whole new world and much much better and more stable. They simply wanted more money. I have talked to the banking commission in our state and showed them the errors in the system and they have told me that when they inspect me If I am using this software I am going to have several problems with the state due to the errors and miscalculation and the also the documents themselves not adhering to the state laws which Pawn wizard said they did do. They do not. They simply want your money. They sub contracted out there program building to different companies to build different parts of the software and when they put it together it simply DOES NOT WORK TOGETHER. You Pay The Price For That. They should be ashamed of themselves for this kind of business practice. I am cutting my loss and buying new software. DO NOT BUY PAWN WIZARD DELUXE OR PAWN WIZARD PRO.
Unfortunately, guys, you are right. They had good employees before, but not now. The owner won't even call back. If you do the new update, be careful. If there are messes, they just leave you hanging. The software program is our livelihood. Don't ever purchase this system. It is sad! They don't listen and hang up on you because they do not know how to fix the problem.
This is the worse company I have ever deal with. The lady in charge or possible the owner is the rudest and she won't not help you it all. I have been paying for the customer support for two years and still experience different fees in the system than the actual ticket. They had been able to fix it. I won't recommend this.
Steve is absolutely correct. We converted two stores to Pawn Wizard. Here it is obvious. Look closely at their website. If you read deep enough, you will see that you have to buy "e-tickets". They are not very forthcoming with this information during sales. When they get your money, you don't count unless you buy their "premium tech support". Our police pawn detail almost made us change companies. The home office is in Florida but they have hidden getting in touch with them. We paid for the Pawn Wizard Deluxe Premium support and after six months they came out with Pawn Wizard Pro and told me "We do not support Pawn Wizard Deluxe any longer". Of course, this was after we paid for 1 year of premium. Our calculations are not figured in a lot of cases and we were told by Allison at Pawn Wizard to "write a note". Yes, it's a lot less expensive than other programs but if I had to do it over, I would get PawnDex. They don't even ask their customers what they would do to make the software better. I mentioned this and they said, we already have this list. Every employee at both stores agree that the software is awful. I can't believe that there isn't more info on the net about WIzard Software Development.
Avoid the wizard software development. Liars and crooks! All is well until they have your money. They did not understand the laws in my state. Our business was crippled for a time because of Pawn Wizard Deluxe. When the problems started, they would not answer the phone. They refused to honor their published 100% satisfaction guarantee. We have located couple of other users of this software who are just as unhappy as we are.
